Since their pilot production of 12 Angry Men in 2001, the TCAN Players have established themselves as a leading community theater company in Metrowest Boston. Under the direction of Faye Harrington, the Players have provided a variety of high quality theatrical vehicles in the TCAN performance space ranging from comedies such as Run for Your Wife and musicals such as Forever Plaid, to the high drama of Doubt and the award-winning A Piece of my Heart.
The Players attract cast, crew, producers and directors from the entire greater Boston area. In a supportive atmosphere of encouragement, talent from within the community works to advance the growth of dramatic arts while striving for excellence. Productions are staged two to three times a year.
Join us - on stage or somewhere behind the scenes - perhaps both. No previous theater experience is necessary, just a love of dramatic arts and a willingness to learn. Watch for audition notices and details about upcoming shows.
Faye Byron-Harrington, Chair

Marcy Bailey-Adams
Marcy is a semi-retired planned giving professional who has been a long-time volunteer for musical and theatrical events at The Center for the Arts in Natick. She was a regular player in the collaborative “Mystery Snack Theatre” at TCAN and produced Neil Simon’s “Jake’s Women” for the TCAN Players in March 2010. In addition to serving on the Board of the Players, Marcy is responsible for coordinating publicity efforts for the TCAN Players.
Matt Cederholm
Matt is a long-time resident of MetroWest, married to a wonderful wife (Amy), and a 26-year veteran of the stage. He has been with the TCAN Players since 2008 and carries the ominous title of "webmaster". With the Players, Matt has been seen on stage (Run for Your Wife, Twentieth Century), backstage (Wait Until Dark), and directing (The Unexpected Guest, Doubt). In his spare time, Matt works as an investment analyst and writes for a baseball website. And yes, he likes corn.
Chris Erath
Chris has appeared on the TCAN stage in The Foreigner, Nobody's Perfect, Wait Until Dark, Run for Your Wife, and The Unexpected Guest as well as over 50 theatrical productions in various spots on the east coast. He resides in Framingham with his wife Kellianne, with whom he produced Arsenic & Old Lace, and their two daughters, Alexandra and Pokey.
Margaret Umbsen
Margaret came to the TCAN Players in late 2008. Since joining the group she has stage managed five of the eight shows on which she’s worked, produced one and assistant directed another. In the course of fifteen years in music and theater, locally and around the northeast, she has worked with Hovey Players, Stanley B. Theatre and Theatre Cooperative and at Sanders Theater and the Regent Theater.
Gail Weston-Roberts
Gail Weston-Roberts has served on the TCAN Players Board since 2004, co-producing, set-designing, set-dressing, directing and costuming. Gail learned to love theater while on Oberlin College’s London Semester, where she studied Victorian literature and arts--and was obliged to attend London plays several nights a week! She performed in Gilbert & Sullivan operettas and studied voice while at Oberlin, studied acting at the Piven Workshop in Evanston, IL, and Improvisation here at TCAN. Gail co-hosted TCAN’s “Speakeasy Open Mic” and writes. Gail and her very tolerant family live in Central Natick.
