Paul Gillespie, most recently seen at TCAN as Jake in Jake's Women, will direct the Players' production of Proof in fall 2011. Paul joins Erin Huelskamp and Julia Carey (I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change) and Faye Harrington (Funny Money) on this year's slate of directors. The players are thrilled to have Paul--who has an extensive resume as an actor and director--directing such a powerful play. 12/3/10

TCAN Players announce our 2011 Season. Join us in March for I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, a musical about the course of love. In June, we will present a British comedy, Funny Money. This was written by the same author as Run For Your Wife, which was a big hit for us in 2008. Finally, in November, we will present a Pulitzer prize and Tony award-winning drama, Proof. Proof tells the story of the daughter of a brilliant, but mentally ill, mathematician, as she struggles with the question of whether she has inherited her father's genius and/or his mental illness.
